AKEDA Body Image Conference 2025
Join us for skills to build a body-positive practice to treat eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image injuries
Friday, September 19th, 8 AM to 4 PM – Saturday, September 20th, 8 AM to 2:30 PM
This special conference addresses the relationship between body image/harmful cultural norms around appearance and eating disorders. Zoe Bisbing, MSW, LCSW will recognize the role body image plays in the development and treatment of eating disorders and provide clinicians and parents/families with tools to prevent, screen and treat eating disorders.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEAVE THE CONFERENCE WITH
An increased understanding of how a negative body image/specific body image culture contributes to eating disorders
