Digital CBTe

Digital CBTe is a new self-help program for adults with recurrent binge eating. It is an 8-week online program designed to reach people directly through their mobile devices and computers, without direct clinician interaction. It was created by a world-leading research group in the treatment of eating disorders at the University of Oxford, UK. Pilot research studies suggest that most people who complete Digital CBTe see a substantial reduction in their binge eating. The Digital CBTe team looks forward to offering the program to Alaskans very soon!

Conoco Phillips

Thanks to a generous contribution from ConocoPhillips, AKEDA will return in 2024 with a new eating disorder Project ECHO series. Project ECHO allows multi-disciplinary providers throughout Alaska (and the world) to engage in learning best practices for eating disorder screening, treatment, and referral. We’re grateful to ConocoPhillips for investing in this valuable program that is a foundational way we are helping to grow Alaska’s capacity to support individuals with eating disorders.
