TYPES OF EATING DISORDERS
Eating disorders affect individuals regardless of age, weight, gender, ethnicity, income level or physical ability. It is important to keep in mind that there is significant symptom overlap among the eating disorder categories, and that individuals can move from one diagnostic category to another over time. This section will help you learn more about the diagnosis, warning signs and health consequences of different types of eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED) Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Eating Disorder (ARFID).
