About the event

Join AKEDA for a Fall 2024 series of Project ECHO sessions (details below) where participants will learn from subject matter experts and discuss areas of special considerations in eating disorder treatment.

CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - Registering will allow you to attend all sessions as your schedule allows. Each session offers 1 free CE/CME credit to registrants who join live for at least 90% of the event and complete a survey. The didactic presentations will be recorded and made available to all registrants after the event, without CME/CE credits.  See Topics and Fall 2024 Schedule below. All ECHO sessions will take place 12:00-1:00 PM AKST.

  • October 17th, 2024, 12-1 PM AKST — Weight Loss Medications & Eating Disorders: Provider Guidance on GLP-1s GLP1s and the Importance of Eating Disorders Screenings - Dr. Margaret Carlson Cosentino
  • October 24th, 2024, 12-1 PM AKST Mastering Meds: Navigating Eating Disorders and Their Complicated Co-Morbidities - Dr. Lisa Weiss
  • October 31, 2024, 12-1 PM AKST –– Healing Pathways: Addressing Trauma in Eating Disorder Recovery - Dr. Elizabeth Wassenaar
  • November 7th, 2024, 12-1 PM AKST –– Body Image and Eating Disorders: Why it can be tricky to change and how to do it anyway - Katie Bell, LPC, LMHC

CME/CE credits are available for the following professions: athletic trainers, dentists, dietitians, nurses, optometrists, PA (physician associates/physician assistants), pharmacists, physicians, psychologists, and social workers. 

Please note: when you register, you may see that the sessions are "pending;" however, that status will change after the first session is held.
