About the event
Building a Body Confident Home is a FREE training designed for adults to help Alaskan youth develop positive relationships with food, body image, and self-worth. This session will provide practical, research-based tools to help kids build body confidence and resilience.
The training will take place at the Thunder Mountain Middle School Library in Juneau, AK. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the training session will run from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
This training will help you to:
Reduce risk factors for disordered eating and eating disorders
Promote positive body image and self-esteem
Model resilient, attuned, and safe behaviors around food and movement
